Robert Spedden was an eight-year-old, first class Titanic passenger traveling with his parents.

Robert's adventures aboard Titanic were told through the eyes of his pet teddy bear, Polar, the Titanic Bear, a popular book authored by his mother. A photograph taken by Father Browne immortalized young Robert who is seen spinning a top on the ship’s deck. It's the only photo in existence of a child on board Titanic and is on display in the Father Browne Gallery.
